I am a writer, performer & teaching artist hailing from the Great White North and currently living in Brooklyn, New York!

I grew up in Ottawa, Ontario where my Mum stuck me in church choir when I refused to simply sit and listen. Boy sopranodom led to professional opportunities on-stage in operas at Canada’s National Arts Center, coinciding with a robust filmography as writer/director/producer/actor that looped in all the kids from the block in a variety of VHS camcorder exploits that ran the gamut from camp to thriller and person-on-the-street interviews.

These early creative experiments paved the way for a life committed to the dramatic arts and storytelling.

My goal is to have an impact, to inspire and to tilt the culture.

Here’s more about my writing projects, performing on stages & screens big & small, pics of me in various states & info on my work as a teaching artist.

An adventurer at heart, I’m passionate about the outdoors and make a habit of pressing the eject button now and again to head out into the wilderness. I have explored forests all over North America (and Europe!). Backcountry highlights include stomping every corner of New York’s Catskills, paddling a kayak from the Adirondacks to Maine, hiking the John Muir Trail in California’s Sierra Nevadas and circumnavigating the actively volcanic Mount Rainier in Washington State.

En avant!
